What is it?
Permanent hair removal with the help of technology known as the LaserSmooth laser. This laser can treat dozens of hair follicles all at the same time, resulting in a faster treatment.
How does it work?
The LaserSmooth laser emits a gentle beam of light that's absorbed into the hair follicle. The energy from the light is transmitted into heat, which disables the hair follicle. The laser technology uses a unique, low-pulse cooling head which prevents overheating and provides protection to the skin. Because of this, LaserSmooth can treat a wide variety of skin types.
Is it effective?
It works most effectively on dark hair. The laser relies on the dark pigment in the hair to deactivate the root. Users should expect a reduction in hair density and coarseness of around 50 per cent after two treatments.
Is it painful?
Each laser pulse feels like a mild sting, which is quickly soothed by the cooling device in the handpiece. Don't worry if you can't stand pain - anaesthetic cream can be applied.
Which body areas can be treated?
Everwhere except close to the eyes, inside the ear canal and the nose.
How many sessions do I need?
It depends on the area being treated and you hair and skin type, but generally siz to eight treatments provide the best results.
